Eid Décor Ideas for Your Home (Plus Ramadan Touches)
Eid décor does not need a full makeover. Focus on the four places guests actually see: the entrance, the dastarkhwan or dining table, the drawing room, and the guest bathroom. A few fresh flowers, warm lights and one or two statement pieces make the whole house feel ready.
In 2027, Ramadan is expected to begin around 9 February in Pakistan and Eid ul Fitr around 10 March, depending on the moon sighting. Plan your décor in early Ramadan, so you're not shopping in the last busy week.
1. The entrance: the first thing guests see
Clear the shoe pile and add one welcoming piece: a tall vase with fresh flowers or greenery on a console, or a floor vase beside the door. Fairy lights or lanterns along the entrance add the festive glow.

A floor vase needs no table space. The Oro Column Floor Vase comes in 2, 2.5 and 3 ft (61, 76 and 91 cm), with a 6 in (15 cm) opening.
2. The dastarkhwan or dining table
Keep centrepieces low so guests can see and talk across the table. Two or three small vases with roses, chambeli or greenery down the middle work better than one tall arrangement. Leave space for serving dishes.

For Iftar during Ramadan, a small vase of greenery and a couple of candles makes the table feel special without crowding it. Change flower water every two days and dry the inside of the vase when you empty it.
3. The drawing room
This is where guests sit longest. Refresh it with:
- A styled console or side table: a vase trio, a candle and a small planter. See our guide to styling a console table.
- The empty corner: a floor vase with pampas or branches.
- Fresh cushion covers and lights: the cheapest big change.

4. The guest bathroom
Guests notice a clean, fresh bathroom. Add a fresh hand towel, a small plant, and a clean, good-looking bin with a liner. A small bin is enough: the Argent Studio Bin Small is 9 in (23 cm) tall with a 7 in (18 cm) opening and wipes clean.

5. Eidi and Eid gifts for family
For relatives setting up a home, newlyweds or anyone hosting Eid, a décor set is a gift that gets used every day:
- Oro Planter Duo or Noir Planter Duo, Rs 2,499
- Argent Studio Bin Duo, Rs 3,999
