How to Style a Vase Without Flowers
A vase does not need fresh flowers to look good. A sculptural vase can stand empty, a single stem or a few dried branches look deliberate, and a group of three vases in different heights works as décor on its own. These ideas need no water, no weekly flower shopping and almost no care.
1. Leave it empty
A vase with a strong shape or finish is decoration by itself. Mirror-polished steel reflects the room and the light, so it never looks bare. Shapes with character, like a slanted rim, work best empty.

The Noir Slant Vase has a slanted rim and a mirror-black finish, so it looks complete with nothing in it. It comes in 8, 11 and 14 in (20, 28 and 36 cm), each 5 in (13 cm) wide.
2. One stem
A single tall stem in a slim vase looks calm and intentional. Use one leafy branch, one dried flower or one long grass. The stem should be about one and a half to two times the vase's height.
3. Dried stems and pampas
Pampas grass, dried wheat, bunny tails and dried flowers last for months. They suit warm, neutral rooms and pair especially well with gold.

Keep dried stems out of direct sun and away from fans or AC vents, and shake off dust every few weeks.
4. Bare branches
A few dry branches from the garden look modern and sculptural, especially in tall floor vases. Choose two or three branches with interesting shapes and trim them so the tallest is roughly twice the vase's height.

Our floor vases stand 2 to 3 ft (61 to 91 cm) tall. See the Noir Slant Floor Vase and Oro Column Floor Vase, Rs 3,999 to Rs 4,999.
5. Group three vases
Three vases in stepped heights look finished even when all three are empty. Put the tallest at the back and the smallest at the front, slightly off to one side.

Frequently asked questions
Can a vase be decoration without flowers?
Yes. A vase with a strong shape or a reflective finish works as a sculptural piece, especially in a group of three.
What can I put in a tall vase instead of flowers?
Pampas grass, dried branches, long dried grasses or a single tall leaf. For floor vases, choose stems up to twice the vase's height.
Do dried flowers need care?
Very little. Keep them out of strong sun and shake off dust now and then. Do not put water in the vase.
